Francheville. Rémi Buda, the “goat” of cheese-making shepherds

Let's meet those who dedicate their lives to animals. This week, we'll meet Rémi Buda, the only shepherd and cheesemaker in the Toulois region. On his farm in Pré Loisy, this artisan farmer raises a mischievous tribe that gives him a hard time but produces delicious dairy products.

"They're just doing stupid things, worse than kids," Rémi Buda jokes, freeing a doe whose head is stuck in a watering can. " Sheep are pretty docile, but a goat is always running away... To keep it in place, you need a fence like the Écrouves prison."
